It’s been confirmed. Fred Dagg the New Zealand- comedian's song ‘If it weren't for your gumboots’ sings the truth. Gumboots actually keep out the water. An unidentified man was seen in the water with his gumboots on. The man said “I was actually singing this song when I fell in.” Little did the man know that the bottom of the lake was quicksand. His gumboots saved his life. The man had suffered a heart attack and had his blood circulation socks on. He said if they got wet he would have died. It is really true. “You need your gumboots.”
